The success of local businesses and vendors positively impacts Folsom’s economy as a whole, as well as the City’s ability to provide quality services and programs. The City strives to use Folsom vendors in purchasing services and products when quality, service and other factors are equal. The Folsom Municipal Code provides for a five percent price differential to local bidders in contracting.
The City of Folsom (City) is interested in engaging contractors to submit bids for the construction of the Oak Avenue PWWF Relief Project. The project is generally described as minor alteration, replacement, and/or repair of fittings, valves and drop inlet manholes; relocation of five air-vacuum relief valves; repair of existing exposed pipe fitting and air-vacuum relief valve in pump station drywell; installation of 16” to 18” plug valves in the existing sewer force main piping; and installation of approximately 1,500 linear feet of permanent 12” sewer force main bypass piping.
